观着谷爱凌，想到张无忌。

谷爱凌，北京第24届冬季奥运会冠军，技压万国。

张无忌，金庸小说《倚天屠龙记》主角，武功盖世。

孟子云：是非之心，人皆有之。主观上的正、邪概念，多数人都有。

当今之世，在许多人心中，中美两国被贴上“正”“邪”标签。有些人认为中国是正，美国是邪，另一些人则认为中国是邪，美国是正。看看社交媒体言论，可知我言非虚。

谷爱凌和张无忌有共性。比如：

·       二者都是打遍天下无敌手的少年英雄。

·       二者的父母都分属于势不两立的正、邪两大阵营。张无忌的父亲是正派子弟，母亲是邪派人物，使得张无忌兼学正、邪两派武功。谷爱凌母亲是中国人，父亲是美国人，生于美国，常去中国，英文中文都流利，既受美国文化熏陶，也受中国文化熏陶，既了解美国，也了解中国。

·       二者都曾代表“邪”派阵营战胜过“正”派阵营。光明顶上，张无忌代表魔教大战少林、武当。北京奥运，谷爱凌代表中国战胜包括美国在内的众多选手。

谷爱凌代表中国夺冠，多数人赞她，也有人骂她。骂谷爱凌的人，清一色都认为美国是“正”，中国是“邪”。

金庸生活在国共两党殊死拼杀的时代。国共两党都认为自己是正，对方是邪。然而在金庸的笔下，正邪界限其实不那么明显，正中有邪，邪中有正。有些正派人物很下流，而有些邪派人物很高尚。旗帜鲜明地区分正邪，导致生灵涂炭。不分正邪，跳出正邪争斗怪圈，反而成就了张无忌这样一个救世仁者和盖世英雄。正邪两派和平共处，于是有了武林的和谐。

金庸告诉世人：当那些自认为是“正”的人勇猛地向自己认准的“邪”挥刀砍杀的时候，他可能是在做着大大的坏事！

在上帝眼中，中美两国到底该不该分正邪？

冒昧猜测上帝旨意：中美两国虽然巨不同，但都是地球村好成员，不该分正邪，正如梅花和兰花虽然巨不同，却都是众香国里佼佼者，不该分好坏一样。

多一些谷爱凌们，世界会更好。

少一些给中美两国贴正邪标签者，世界会更好。

We all know who Eileen Gu is. But who is Zhang Wuji?

Zhang Wuji is the protagonistof theHeaven Sword and Dragon Saber (倚天屠龙记), one of the most celebratedworks by Jin Yong (金庸; LouisCha; Cha Leung-yung) (10 March 1924 – 30 October 2018), the greatest Chinesewuxia (武侠; martialarts and chivalry) novelist in 20th century.

There are many similaritiesbetween the Eileen and Wuji, with the following three being the most prominent:

·       They are both the world’s best. Eileen is theworld’s best skier here and now. Wuji is the world’s best fighter there andthen.

·       They are both the child of a marriage betweenthe humanly-regarded “angel” and the humanly-regarded “evil”. Eileen Gu is thedaughter of as-viewed-by-some-Americans “Angel” USA and “Evil” China, and ZhangWuji is the son of the "angel" Wudang Sect and the "evil"Heavenly Eagle Cult.

·       They both have compete on behalf of the “evil”Realm and bring honors to the “evil” Realm.

In imaginary world, Angel isgood and Evil is bad. In real world, however, the humanly-regarded “angels” arenot all good. In fact, some of their members are as bad or even worse than thehumanly-regarded “evils”, and vice versa, as been vividly depicted by JinYong’s the Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber.

In the Heaven Sword andDragon Saber, Zhang Wuji represents the best, and the best situation occurswhen the “Angel” Realm and the “Evil” Realm coexist peacefully. The distinctbetween the Angel and the Evil are not that obvious in many situations.

Jin Yong lived through theera when China’s Nationalist Party and Communist Party had been fiercelyfighting, with each painting itself as the “Angel” and the other as the “Evil”.By praising Zhang Wuji, perhaps Jin Yong wanted to tell people that neither theNationalist nor the Communist was an angel or an evil, and the ideal situationwould be when both would coexist peacefully.

How about Eileen Gu, then?Does she represent the best as Zhang Wuji does?

My opinion: She is notnecessarily the best, but definitely one of the best – both morally and in herskiing business.

Majority of Americans regardUS as the angel and China as the evil, and majority of Chinese inside mainlandChina regard China as the angel and US as the evil. The plain truth is: neitherUS nor China is the “Angel” or the “Evil”. They both are great counties in thisworld, and they both have their own dark side. The best situation occurs whenthe two great countries coexist peacefully.
