WCCW holds Press Conference to demand Prime Minister Abe to officially apologize for Japanese Imperial Military-led sex crimes “comfort women” during World War II
(Washington, DC) – The Washington Coalition for Comfort Women Issues (WCCW) will hold a press conference to demand Japanese Prime Minister Abe to officially acknowledge and apologize for Japanese Imperial Military-led sex crimes referred as “Comfort Women” during World War II in his address to a joint session of the United States Congress.
WCCW was founded in December 1992 in Washington D.C. to advocate rights of wartime victims and their lawful reparation. Our mission is to contribute to eradication and prevention of sex crimes against women by promoting public awareness.
