華裔小詩人, 五月一日在意大利駐美大使館的 <國際詩月: 詩歌朗誦會>中, 酷透全場!!十歲的何卓知（Isabella Ho）和十一歲的鍾曉盈（Michelle Chung）, 在眾人面前, 朗誦自己所創作有關馬可波羅溝通東西文化的詩, 表揚了他引進北京的葱油餅到羅馬, 風行成流通到華盛顿的意大利披蕯薄餅 pizza. 聽眾們發出了陣陣會心的笑聲, 熱烈鼓掌!

農曆五月十七丁酉年/公曆六月十一火雞年, Michael Chung & 陳詠智盛情款宴是次詩歌朗誦會主持人, 詩壇泰斗 Grace Cavalieri; 及另一位女詩人 Judy MacCombs,  喬治城大學 Anna Lawton 博士, 國會圖書館漢學泰斗潘銘燊博士伉儷, 華府藝術攝影大師 Eddie Kang 伉儷, 媒體健筆 Vivian Xu 闔府。 大家喜聚銀泉鎮怡和飯店, 書法家夏笠老先生撥墨飄香, Grace 笑納其墨寶---

On May 17th, year of the Roaster on the Lunar calendar/ June 11, Year of Two Thousand  Seventeen on the Gregorian calendar, a dinner feast was hosted by Mr. Michael Chung and Prof. Wing-chi Chan at the Silver Fountain Restaurant, in the town of the Silver Spring, for old and new friends.  A Chinese calligraphy, with the aroma of ink-brush from artist Maestro Li Xia (A Nanking Massacre Survivor), was specially presented to poet lady Grace Cavalieri that stormed waves of great joy to everybody.

A heart in peace

A passion in calm

For a longer life

For unlimited years

In concluding such a memorable evening, I take a note as follows.

Gather together old and new friends

Shooting the breeze, delights in water and mountains

Cantonese cuisine: lobster, fish, shrimps

Beef, tea, beer, pakchoi, mushroom, ducks, noodle and sweets

Chinese and Western elements

Exchange the forks and chopsticks

Words from fortune cookies well understood

Cheers and laughter, Silver Fountain floated
