Media and Chinese-language Publications Coordinator
" W9 Z7 U6 ?, y9 | Carnegie-Tsinghua Center The Carnegie–Tsinghua Center for Global Policy, the Beijing Center of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, is seeking a Media and Chinese-language Publications Coordinator. This position will be responsible for managing the translation process of the Center's Chinese language content and working with scholars and the communications team to edit Chinese-language content for internal and external publication. This position will also be responsible for managing the center's media outreach including developing a media strategy for the center for both Chinese and English language media; arranging interviews for scholars; tracking and monitoring media-appearances; and preparing press releases and other mailings for media. Finally, this position will be responsible for maintaining and updating the Chinese-language website, managing the center's social media accounts, and working with scholars to grow their social media presence. This position requires native or near-native Chinese language with strong proofreading and copyediting skills in Chinese, and fluent spoken and written English. A Bachelors degree, preferably in communications, international affairs, or journalism is required. One or two years work experience in media relations, journalism, publishing, or public affairs is a big plus. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who is detail-oriented, extremely well organized, capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple deadlines with a "can-do" attitude, and possesses the ability to work well with others in a cross-cultural environment. This position will report to the Communications Director at the Carnegie–Tsinghua Center for Global Policy.
