SC Innovative Technologies, LLC is a well-funded, emerging web startup that is headquartered in Laurel, MD and has operations in Beijing, China. The Company is currently looking for a well-rounded Software Engineer / Web Developer who is familiar with the growing Web 2.0 landscape and desires to contribute in a fast-paced startup environment. The candidate must be able to develop robust, elegant, web-based applications, and have a solid understanding of, and practical experience with, Java web application development in a consumer-oriented, large-scale environment.

! B- v3 C6 Y2 V; B! G  w: DAs a Software Engineer, you will participate in the entire life-cycle of product development. Day to day responsibilities will include:
Building the web tier of the application using Java-based components such as Struts, JSP, JavaScript, and Servlets.
% _- o# k) r# }4 O% p( Y4 aAssist with the design and development of upcoming features and product versions.
Working with a team of developers to design and implement effective and scalable technical solutions.

REQUIREMENTS
9 i7 z/ b' H' g3 H* j( ^, KA Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) is required. An advanced degree or professional licensing is a plus.
% M9 b1 p9 ~1 j0 f9 N1-3+ years developing consumer-facing websites and applications.
6 M4 E) x- {1 j% m/ H" ^) n% J1 \Strong Java skills and object-oriented design experience, including working knowledge of Java core libraries, design patterns, J2EE, CSS, Struts, JSP, Javascript, and Servlets.
Hands-on experience with Ajax, Hibernate, Quartz, Memcached, and Tomcat is a plus.
Experience in database design and SQL is preferred. MySQL a plus.
: k) S# r) v9 P" U6 x- }! kKnowledge of session management, object relational mapping, object caching, XML/JSON web services, and agile development methodologies desired.
