The Company is currently looking for a well-rounded Software Engineer / Web Developer who is familiar with the growing Web 2.0 landscape and desires to contribute in a fast-paced startup environment. The candidate must be able to develop robust, elegant, web-based applications, and have a solid understanding of, and practical experience with, Java web application development in a consumer-oriented, large-scale environment.

: x( w' Z) R- S; uAs a Software Engineer, you will participate in the entire life-cycle of product development. Day to day responsibilities will include:$ e$ A' p3 M+ M6 B) U
Building the web tier of the application using Java-based components such as Struts, JSP, JavaScript, and Servlets.
* V! ]8 R: g) U; a5 G5 MAssist with the design and development of upcoming features and product versions.
/ Y( M$ {' j, V" k% g6 QWorking with a team of developers to design and implement effective and scalable technical solutions.

REQUIREMENTS
0 e7 e# m' }, A1 d* g9 fA Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) is required. An advanced degree or professional licensing is a plus.! h9 G) ^2 i! S8 z" W
1-3+ years developing consumer-facing websites and applications.
# L1 u8 D/ l4 C9 V' A$ L8 QStrong Java skills and object-oriented design experience, including working knowledge of Java core libraries, design patterns, J2EE, CSS, Struts, JSP, Javascript, and Servlets., h; |( p) ]( h$ _1 {
Hands-on experience with Ajax, Hibernate, Quartz, Memcached, and Tomcat is a plus.
/ n7 f9 C) I3 J8 F, v ~6 KExperience in database design and SQL is preferred. MySQL a plus.
+ J7 B$ b3 ~: r. p- dKnowledge of session management, object relational mapping, object caching, XML/JSON web services, and agile development methodologies desired.. t0 r" X$ O% m$ q8 P6 |) }8 \( f
