The Company is currently looking for a well-rounded Software Engineer / Web Developer who is familiar with the growing Web 2.0 landscape and desires to contribute in a fast-paced startup environment. 4 Q; o+ L y/ R9 [( B0 t8 l! {As a Software Engineer, you will participate in the entire life-cycle of product development. Day to day responsibilities will include:
# m+ x4 s K7 c. X! C nBuilding the web tier of the application using Java-based components such as Struts, JSP, JavaScript, and Servlets.3 u3 O* O8 o c" y
Assist with the design and development of upcoming features and product versions.* `% L9 `6 I3 V) ~6 l
Working with a team of developers to design and implement effective and scalable technical solutions.. v0 J: c0 Q1 }* W. e2 G5 k
, m1 Z# n! ? W, T$ q5 Q: [REQUIREMENTS
+ y8 O0 V( K% v0 e" T( ?A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) is required. An advanced degree or professional licensing is a plus." k: O2 U: }' L
1-3+ years developing consumer-facing websites and applications.+ w7 X; d) b& k# E% ^6 {7 Y
Strong Java skills and object-oriented design experience, including working knowledge of Java core libraries, design patterns, J2EE, CSS, Struts, JSP, Javascript, and Servlets.) x- { P# [/ R: t
Hands-on experience with Ajax, Hibernate, Quartz, Memcached, and Tomcat is a plus.
8 T8 w1 b% o' w6 M' W/ {Experience in database design and SQL is preferred. MySQL a plus.; |7 I5 Q' N( _. N% W6 L9 Q
Knowledge of session management, object relational mapping, object caching, XML/JSON web services, and agile development methodologies desired. ~. N7 x- v5 s) n, r
