The Company is currently looking for a well-rounded Software Engineer / Web Developer who is familiar with the growing Web 2.0 landscape and desires to contribute in a fast-paced startup environment. The candidate must be able to develop robust, elegant, web-based applications, and have a solid understanding of, and practical experience with, Java web application development in a consumer-oriented, large-scale environment.

- S0 G" P2 p+ E# w: b& O# ^! _" tAs a Software Engineer, you will participate in the entire life-cycle of product development. Day to day responsibilities will include:
, V- o! c! M" `; G1 i* C- N8 yBuilding the web tier of the application using Java-based components such as Struts, JSP, JavaScript, and Servlets.
& v& F9 i( ?8 [, VAssist with the design and development of upcoming features and product versions.- ^% V1 j6 w& J& M( O* Q
Working with a team of developers to design and implement effective and scalable technical solutions.$ V, J) y: N, B& s
! G2 s. L+ [* E; V; UREQUIREMENTS
) l+ O# K! G: a) R8 k- y% ~A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) is required. An advanced degree or professional licensing is a plus.
' j& a- s, d; u, l* @1-3+ years developing consumer-facing websites and applications.
5 E5 @2 Q& Q7 nStrong Java skills and object-oriented design experience, including working knowledge of Java core libraries, design patterns, J2EE, CSS, Struts, JSP, Javascript, and Servlets.
I: ~4 C" _, S5 {& XHands-on experience with Ajax, Hibernate, Quartz, Memcached, and Tomcat is a plus.
; ^& x; E6 @: i$ s8 OExperience in database design and SQL is preferred. MySQL a plus.. Y! G& K* d5 H+ Q5 L3 z
Knowledge of session management, object relational mapping, object caching, XML/JSON web services, and agile development methodologies desired.
