The Company is currently looking for a well-rounded Software Engineer / Web Developer who is familiar with the growing Web 2.0 landscape and desires to contribute in a fast-paced startup environment. - | c) s, C1 m; mAs a Software Engineer, you will participate in the entire life-cycle of product development. Day to day responsibilities will include:
7 F" q( N; V' hBuilding the web tier of the application using Java-based components such as Struts, JSP, JavaScript, and Servlets./ k) d1 U1 y# M4 F j7 h) p4 i
Assist with the design and development of upcoming features and product versions.( a' d7 Q, D, v. R, t6 [1 K& Q- X
Working with a team of developers to design and implement effective and scalable technical solutions.
( i8 p; _7 B E& l6 k7 m2 o! E; ?) A5 J
REQUIREMENTS
. g9 t/ v, y' \ i4 WA Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) is required. An advanced degree or professional licensing is a plus.
, M* ^ _5 a* @8 J1-3+ years developing consumer-facing websites and applications.
& z b1 k- \" M) f! JStrong Java skills and object-oriented design experience, including working knowledge of Java core libraries, design patterns, J2EE, CSS, Struts, JSP, Javascript, and Servlets.
( \. m% N: | r7 O) ]. y& SHands-on experience with Ajax, Hibernate, Quartz, Memcached, and Tomcat is a plus.
( s7 T/ h# k7 \5 o. ]# h: \6 y, [Experience in database design and SQL is preferred. MySQL a plus.9 H' S/ ~7 ~" S. S/ q7 q
Knowledge of session management, object relational mapping, object caching, XML/JSON web services, and agile development methodologies desired.8 W1 T, v) I6 k5 r& g
