The Company is currently looking for a well-rounded Software Engineer / Web Developer who is familiar with the growing Web 2.0 landscape and desires to contribute in a fast-paced startup environment. ' Z9 M6 A' i2 _; @: k! _3 ^2 [+ pAs a Software Engineer, you will participate in the entire life-cycle of product development. Day to day responsibilities will include:
% ?0 A' c$ U" h: x" {4 x$ T( Q7 cBuilding the web tier of the application using Java-based components such as Struts, JSP, JavaScript, and Servlets./ L) u" J8 ]1 a c8 G( Z
Assist with the design and development of upcoming features and product versions.
# n+ l1 Q$ x4 |6 j- aWorking with a team of developers to design and implement effective and scalable technical solutions." A! \' Z/ f: ] t' V. z& t
, P2 L3 s. `$ C: i3 D+ A! o3 H3 B: ~REQUIREMENTS
. L) W; E6 M( r4 kA Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) is required. An advanced degree or professional licensing is a plus.7 V4 ?: J4 ?# i
1-3+ years developing consumer-facing websites and applications.8 h6 h/ F/ \0 n7 d. B/ ^" B5 M
Strong Java skills and object-oriented design experience, including working knowledge of Java core libraries, design patterns, J2EE, CSS, Struts, JSP, Javascript, and Servlets./ b! b: m. n) r
Hands-on experience with Ajax, Hibernate, Quartz, Memcached, and Tomcat is a plus.# ]/ S! U* W( g9 a
Experience in database design and SQL is preferred. MySQL a plus.! Q& P4 n+ a( z& u" |9 q. ~
Knowledge of session management, object relational mapping, object caching, XML/JSON web services, and agile development methodologies desired.! b# T& S; L% @8 n
