Job Title: Program Assistant/Interpreter( w0 p6 g. h5 }8 G9 x# ^' r
! \2 h9 g8 ^ M& c4 WResponsibilities Include but not limited to:
k- E7 t' Z5 D) [) i# g' z-Conduct consecutive interpretation during lectures and meetings on or off campus;, `& ~/ ] Y* B) E W: \: j1 H
-General office administrative tasks as assigned by the program coordinator;
1 ` W7 B* i) ~; c( D8 A-Program details and logistics follow up as directed by the program coordinator; C5 O+ T2 @; [
-Other tasks assigned by the supervisor;

Training program topics are mostly on, but not limited to:/ @3 ?9 ~: V% G. w. e" r: c7 s
Public Administration, Social Science, Humanities, Business, Higher Education, Law, Environmental Policies, Technology Industry Development. l% e( p7 _6 w4 `

Qualifications:, O2 [+ l: B5 S0 @; s; c7 v
-This position does not offer H1B sponsorship. Ideal candidates are U.S. permanent resident, U.S. citizens, or candidates with OPT employment authorization of at least 6 months remaining. & B2 x( w/ |, a- l, N6 c
-Local hire only, no relocation reimbursement; n4 [* z7 y$ r
-Outstanding ability of English-Chinese in/out of class consecutive interpretation;
" H, s; X8 ?- j: y5 P/ R-Outstanding Communication skills in both Chinese and English;
- `6 U: Z6 D+ T! V5 Y-Ideal Candidate must be comfortable with facilitating teaching in a professional setting, and be willing to work with both Chinese and American professionals;
/ V e3 A( H- D9 x2 |; `) Z! P; f-Preferred academic or professional background: Law, English, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Business, Finance, Economics, Communication, Education;* q$ h6 m" ?& H4 m
-driver’s license a plus.+ z1 j3 e" z3 K2 j1 {. U
