Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
b. U, s0 N* E+ u3 u-Conduct consecutive interpretation during lectures and meetings on or off campus;
: a) q8 E/ L- c) _-General office administrative tasks as assigned by the program coordinator;
) w* ?2 b% C/ M) Q1 Q3 r9 h-Program details and logistics follow up as directed by the program coordinator;$ p+ G X5 A7 u, x) m% J
-Other tasks assigned by the supervisor;" g+ h" { W7 m# v
. ^ n! l+ w' ]% y7 W
Training program topics are mostly on, but not limited to:
+ N/ Q$ `/ I" _$ B3 K2 h- aPublic Administration, Social Science, Humanities, Business, Higher Education, Law, Environmental Policies, Technology Industry Development.7 C. N% P$ C% p) B+ e
' l# ]* p/ z5 v+ x' Z2 P! D1 Q4 t
! z& ^- G, D, b0 yQualifications:
9 i' b7 ~: n9 L6 q-This position does not offer H1B sponsorship. Ideal candidates are U.S. permanent resident, U.S. citizens, or candidates with OPT employment authorization of at least 6 months remaining. 7 R. J9 p+ H( Z$ M p0 v. f$ q( \
-Local hire only, no relocation reimbursement7 _ o+ w, y# U. n0 @
-Outstanding ability of English-Chinese in/out of class consecutive interpretation;5 B0 ~! w0 l" `0 ]- }
-Outstanding Communication skills in both Chinese and English;
% v/ p( i6 R7 F5 B-Ideal Candidate must be comfortable with facilitating teaching in a professional setting, and be willing to work with both Chinese and American professionals;
' ]; Y: p. K- o! C+ z8 n4 K; T-Preferred academic or professional background: Law, English, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Business, Finance, Economics, Communication, Education;9 D6 F/ U- Q! @2 \. Y+ f
-driver’s license a plus.
