The U.S.-China Business & Culture Exchange, Inc. isalso known as “UCBCEC”, is founded in 1999, a fully incorporated internationalentity headquartered in the suburb of Washington, D.C., the capital of theUnited States. We also have representative office which is located in Beijing,China.
UCBCEC seeks to stimulate mutually beneficial exchangesand communications between China and the United States in the fields ofeducation, culture and commerce. UCBCEC achieves this goal through multiplechannels that include coordinating training seminar and professionaldevelopment workshops, organizing international conferences and exhibitions,and university cooperative partnership programs.
UCBCEC has been authorized by the State Administration ofForeign Experts Affairs (SAFEA) of People’s Republic of China to organizetraining and exchange programs in the United States for the federal and Stategovernment official in China. Vice versa, we have also been authorized by SAFEAto introducing cultural and educational foreign experts to China.
Job Summary
Thecoordinator reports to the project manager. The position is focused primarilyon the support of the coordination of every projects assigned. The chosen applicant will be responsible for clientmanagement, estimations, project management, planning & scheduling, andother administrative duties.
The position works closely with project manager to actively determine goals and priorities throughout eachseason. Candidates should have strong supervisory skills along with the abilityto work with various levels of personnel. Our fast paced environment requiresadvanced organizational techniques as well as extreme attention to detail inorder to successfully manage a multitude of ongoing projects. The coordinator mustbe able to work independently.
Responsibilities
Training Program Tasks
· Design training programs (develop trainingschedule /timetable) according to training objectives and clients’ needs
· Integrate various training techniques, classroomor Instructor-Led training, hands-on training, experience-based training.
· Matching professors who can deliver lecturesrelated to our training objectives.
· Arrange those trainees to visit leadingcompanies, organizations and government departments to acquire some practicalknowledge related to their learning objectives.
· Observe lectures and site visits, keepingrecords of instructors’ quality of delivering classes and trainees’ learningperformance.
· Collect feedback from trainees and adjusttraining correspondingly
· Doing interpreting and translation as needed tohelp trainees better understand the training content.
Cooperative Education Program Tasks
· Communicate with various current school keycontacts for course design and translation accordingly and make reportperiodically
· Do research on potential cooperative schoolsand develop feasible MOU for furthercollaboration
· Maintain good working relationship with currentbusiness partner schools
· Being involved in key business meeting and makemeeting minutes report to supervisor
· Prepare presentation document for pitching schools
Daily Routine Tasks
· Assist supervisor to develop contract draft andtranslate school introduction or program planning documents
· Do marketing to obtain potential guild orbusiness association for field visits
· Respond to back-and-forth business requestemails
· Assist teammates for other projects or programsas needed
RequiredQualifications
- Language skills in the translation of Mandarin and English
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
- Bachelor’s degree
- High level of integrity and honesty
- Optimism, calmness and flexibility
- High Energy
- Quality driven
- Ability to create friendly but firm rapport with employees
- Outstanding Organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
Experience
- Administrative work experience – 2 years minimum
- Client Management – 1 year minimum
