马里兰州长宣布进入紧急状态。

Blizzard conditions with this major winter storm prompted Governor Martin O'Malley to declared a State of Emergency for the storm bearing down on Maryland.  This opens up the use of the National Guard, use Humvee, and frees up a lot resources for first responders.  The governor began with the stress on the Eastern Shore's potential for flooding in addition to blizzard conditions.  As of now, Blizzard Warnings are posted for Delaware and New Jersey.

15-22 inches are expected.

俺的经验是，分多次铲要比一次铲轻松一点

另外据俺同事说，铲雪比较容易忽略疲劳，从而导致heart attack，也不知道是谣传还是有依据

铲雪一定要悠着点，上次那场大雪，我的一个人高马大体壮如牛的大老美，铲雪伤了背，休息了好几天，后来上班还拄着拐。
